The University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University (UM-SJTU) Joint Institute invites applications for tenure-track (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) or tenured positions in all emerging fields related to Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Material Science and Engineering. Candidates should possess doctoral degrees and are expected to establish vigorous research programs and contribute to undergraduate and graduate education. Salaries are highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The UM-SJTU Joint Institute receives strong support from both partner universities and the Chinese government. It offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degress in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering.
