论文摘要

Solid-state electrolyte materials enable high energy density and safety for lithium ion batteries. High ionic conductivity is the first concern for the practical application of solid-state electrolyte. So, developing superionic conductors with high ionic conductivities and understanding fast ion diffusion are quite impending. We designed a series of LiMS2 with lithium-anion tetrahedrons and Li3MI6 with lithium-anion octahedra, and found lithium ion migration significantly affected by the choice of M element. The anion framework models are constructed to study the effects of anion charge on lithium ion migration, and new design principles for developing superionic conductors were proposed.

报告人简介

Zhenming Xu is a PhD student of UM-SJTU joint institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Zhenming has received his Master's degree from Central South University in 2017. Zhenming's PhD research topic is theoretical design of advanced energy materials.
