讲座摘要
Electroactive polymer materials undergo shape and mechanical property changes when subjected to an electric stimulus, making them ideal for applications in soft robotics, actuators, and sensors. The mechanical behavior of polymers is inherently viscoelastic. Although electrorheological (ER) studies have demonstrated that electric fields can enhance polymer viscosity, a comprehensive understanding of the electro-responsive viscoelasticity and the microstructural evolution driven by the ER effect remains lacking. This dissertation investigates polymeric materials’ viscoelastic and structural responses under electrical stimulation, focusing on polymer chain relaxation dynamics, molecular weight effects, and microstructure regulation in polymer-particle composites.
主讲人介绍
Yinuo Teng is currently a Ph.D. student at UM-SJTU Joint institute. She received her B.S. degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation from Shandong University. Her research focuses on the electrorheology of polymeric materials.
