Financial Support for International Conferences

Conference Funding

There are two types of conference funding available for all JI graduate students to apply. They are:

SJTU Sponsoring Graduate Students to Attend High Level International Academic Conferences
SJTU provide financial support to the graduate students for attending and delivering their academic works on high-level international conferences. JI Graduate Student Development Fund
The JI Graduate Student Development Fund is to support one graduate student to attend an international conference per faculty per year, with a financial support amount of up to 1000 USD. We will employ the similar SJTU procedure to evaluate the application for this fund.
Note:
JI Graduate Student Development Fund is a complementary to SJTU Funding. Usually student who is/will be granted by SJTU funding is not eligible to apply for the JI funding in the same year.
Application will be accepted through the whole fiscal year.

Notes:
Any trip without SJTU’s approval letter could not be reimbursed. Please start up your application for business trip on my.sjtu.edu.cn as early as possible.
