Computational Biology, Bioinformatics and Biological Computing Lab
Our main goal lies in developing novel computational methods that aid biological and biomedical research. With the vast proliferation of high-throughput sequencing technologies, we are observing a rapid increase in biological data, including genetics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, and proteomics data. However, having such large amount of data at our disposal also creates new computational challenges. Our work focuses on developing efficient algorithms as well as effective methods, including both data analytics and machine learning methods, to address these challenges and facilitate novel biological discoveries. We work closely injunction with Life Science and collaborate with renowned immunology and cancer researchers.
