Academic Seminar: Neural correlates of group decision-making and collaboration

Speaker: Dr. Tao Liu, Zhejiang University

Time: 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., June 29th, 2022 (Beijing Time)

Location: via Feishu

Abstract

Ample studies have examined neural mechanisms underlying human decision-making in various research fields such as psychology, management, economics as well as ergonomics. However, due to technical limitations, past literature has mainly focused on single-brain paradigms lacking of complex scenarios involving social interactions. In case, neural basis of group decision-making is still not clear. Using fNIRS-based hyperscanning technique with graph theory, this seminar reported two studies to discuss the neural correlates of group decision-making and collaboration, highlighting importance of topological properties of group-brain network across interacting members.
