Abstract

With the wide concern in energy and environmental issues, renewable energy is being promoted worldwide. This dissertation has dealt with several critical uncertainties in the renewable energy management system. Electric vehicle (EV) charging coordination and microgrid cloud-local control are chosen as two typical scopes to design, implement, and verify the corresponding coordination scheme. The uncertainties in temporal and spatial domains are jointly considered for the first time to form a large-scale temporal-spatial charging coordination system. A cloud-local microgrids energy coordination architecture that is reliable and resilient under power uncertainties and communication failures is proposed. Through the proposed scheduling models and multi-agent game model, the prediction and real-time dynamic information are combined to mitigate uncertainties, making renewable energy system management more reliable and efficient.
