Abstract

Fracture under high-speed loading extensively exists in engineering materials and structures, and is an important class of failure forms. High-speed loading usually causes severe deformations and fracture, which makes the fracture behaviors complicated to be captured. In this dissertation, an efficient parallel solution scheme and two novel phase field models considering the features of high-speed loading are proposed. Multiple mechanisms for deformation and fracture are considered in detail, which makes the proposed models applicable to the problems of high-speed loaidng, and this will be of great benefit to engineering.
