JI hosts inaugural Yangtze Delta energy management workshop in Shanghai

The Yangtze Delta Energy Management Systems Consortium (YD-EMSC) successfully conducted its first workshop from August 9 to 10 in Shanghai, marking a significant milestone in the quest for cutting-edge energy management technologies by the University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute (UM-SJTU JI, JI hereafter) and its partners in the Yangtze Delta region.

JI student wins national prize on energy saving and emission reduction

Hanxuan Zeng, an undergraduate student from the University of Michigan – Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute (UM-SJTU JI, JI hereafter), has been awarded a national second prize in the final of 16th National University Student Social Practice and Science Contest on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction held in Nanjing in August.

UM-SJTU Partnership Board holds 25th meeting

The University of Michigan (UM) – Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) Partnership Board held its 25th meeting on August 25 via simultaneous videoconference in China and the United States. Board members from the two universities attended the meeting presided by SJTU President Kuiling Ding.
