The title of his talk is “Three Inspirations from My Life Journey.” He reported that his experiences in exploring Antarctica, organizing seminars on environmental protection, and winning the SJTU Presidential Award gave him three inspirations: 1. An exposed shortcoming can push one to improve; 2. Chances are fleeting, some of which can change one’s life; 3. Always be grateful and change whatever you can. Fate will reward you with what you deserve.

Wang Chong compared his life experience as a drop of water flowing from the mountain to the sea. He described how he worked as the secretary of the JI Student Union, organized the Joint Departure Activity, supported the education in Yunnan, and volunteered at the Expo. He encouraged the lower-class students to take the initiative, study hard, work hard, and never stop improving oneself.

Qian Wentao recounted his experience working as the Director of Propaganda of the Youth League and organizing the Global Forum for University Elites. He pointed out that while working with students one should be sincere and not conceited. He did not regret the hardship and sacrifice he had experienced because he believed that he had made a great impact on many people’s lives.
The three speakers then answered questions from the audience, such as how to balance study and work and how to be a good leader. The speakers were patient and willing to answer all the questions about learning, work, and life.
