Background Information:

Shanghai Jiaotong University’s student Innovative Practica lProjects (IPP) is based on the principle of “stimulating scientific interest, developing research potential, and promoting Entrepreneurship” and aims to support outstanding students with strongre search potentia lto carry out independent research projects, with emphasis on cutting-edge science and technology, cross-disciplinary innovation, entrepreneuria lthinking and hands-on capability.

Students would start with the Undergraduate Research Projects(PRP) or other basic-level scientific/technological innovation projects, based on which they would develop further research projects and submit to SJTU’s IPP. The university then selects the best projects to be qualified as National University Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Projects or Shanghai University Students Innovation Projects.
