Burns said visiting the SJTU campus and JI left him with a very good impression. He praised the high quality of JI students and recalled the online classes attended by students from different time zones during the pandemic, which has had some impact on the interactions between China and the United States. Strengthening educational cooperation and enhancing mutual understanding is very important for both countries, said the ambassador.
