JI Student Wins SJTU Tryout of U21 3MT Competition

Three-minute Thesis Competition was held in the Minhang campus on September.Jing Long, a JI Ph.D. student from Prof. Tian Yang’s Nanophotonics Laboratory, won the second prize by her excellent presentation of “Detecting a single molecule within a gold nanoparticle-plane junction.”

Prof. Jun Zhang Wins SJTU Outstanding Teaching Award

“He designs his course according to students’ different levels. He emphasizes their critical thinking and self-challenge capabilities. He applies advanced teaching ideas and ensures that students learn effectively.”
