The new students of the Joint Institute arrived at the SJTU Minhang Campus on September 12 morning. A volunteer team of JI students in eye-catching T shirts were ready bright and early, waving JI’s giant flag and helping the new students settle into the JI family.

JI’s 2015 new student body includes 310 undergraduates and 49 graduate students. The 45 international students come from 19 countries.The convocation served as their first lesson. It would enhance their insight into JI and help them adjust to the new life at JI and reach their goals.

JI faculty scores high in 2015 NSFC Funding
