Yu Liming Endowed Scholarship Fund Established for JI Students
The “Yu Liming Endowed Scholarship Fund” is a permanent fund for SJTU. A percentage of the annual profit will be earmarked as scholarships for JI’s outstanding students, so that more students can fulfill their dreams and become China’s future leaders.

The winners of the 2014 Chiang Chen Overseas Graduate Fellowship have just been announced. Passing multiple interview and selection processes, Ming Zhong and Yanrong Li, two seniors from the Joint Institute, turn out to be the only two SJTU winners for this honor.
Honorary Dean Jun Ni Receives Highest Honor in Engineering from UM
Honorary Dean Jun Ni of the UM-SJTU Joint Institute received the 2015 Stephen S. Attwood Award at the University of Michigan on March 7, 2015. It is the highest engineering award given by the University of Michigan.
