Meet the Entrepreneurs: Jimmy Hsiao

Jimmy Hsiao is the founding CEO of Logic Solutions which provides a comprehensive range of technology solutions and services to business across the United States including website design and programming, e-Commerce solutions, customized web and mobile applications and strategy, and application integration. It was started in 1995 as a one-man shop but now it has grown to a global business with offices in Ann Arbor, Irvine, Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Taipei.

Jimmy has also cofounded Logiclink in 1998, a company that provides patented automated business center technology to more than 3,000 hotels in the US. He is currently the CEO of this company with the vision to re-invent it focusing on mobile solutions for the hospitality industry. In 2014, Logic Solution branched into environmental, health and safety (EH&S) solutions with the acquisition of Quantum Compliance.

Jimmy holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. During his time as a researcher at the University of Michigan, he developed a number of software applications for the Cray supercomputer. Today, Jimmy spends half of his time working with startups at different stages. Jimmy was named 40 under 40 in 1998 and Top 50 IT Professionals to Know in 2017 by Crain’s Detroit Business.
